Perpetual Co-founder Ellie Moss named as a 2025 Grist50 Climate Fixer

Each year, the Grist 50 list features 50 climate leaders bringing unique and innovative solutions to their field, their community, and the world. This year, Perpetual Co-founder and Co-executive director Ellie Moss was named as one of the 50 Fixers for Perpetual’s work to establish citywide reusable foodware solutions.

“Many people don’t think of reusable foodware and packaging systems as climate solutions, because the most visible impact is on the avoidance of plastic waste and other single-use disposable items,” Moss said. “In fact, according to Life Cycle Assessments of solutions that we have designed, scaled reusable foodware systems reduce lifetime greenhouse gas emissions by over 50% compared to single-use alternatives.”

Moss is listed in the Business and Tech cohort for the 2025 list.
